Educated Supplements LLC dba Ametric Protocol (“Ametric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We built our supplements on transparency, and we hold our data practices to the same standard. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit ametricprotocol.com (the “Site”), scan the QR code on our labels, sign up for our emails, contact us, or place a bulk order, and how we use and protect it.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use it to make medical decisions about you.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. We collect what you choose to share with us, including:
- Contact details such as your name, email address, and phone number when you submit our contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or email us.
- Business details such as company name, business address, and order volume when you submit a bulk or wholesale (B2B) inquiry.
- Messages and feedback you send us, including questions about our products or Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site or scan a label QR code, we and our service providers may collect:
- Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location (city or region), and language settings.
- Pages viewed, products and COAs looked up, links clicked, time on page, and the site or QR code that referred you.
- Information from cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 4).
Health-related information. We do not ask you for medical information. If you choose to include health details in a message to us (for example, a condition or medication), we use it only to answer your question and do not use it for advertising. Please do not send sensitive health information through our forms.
Information from others. We do not offer user accounts or process payments on the Site; all purchases are completed on Amazon. Amazon processes your order under its own privacy notice. We receive only limited, order-level information Amazon makes available to sellers, and we do not receive your payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the Site, including product pages, our Quality page, and the Find My COA library.
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- Respond to bulk and wholesale inquiries and communicate with business customers.
- Send our newsletter and educational content when you have subscribed.
- Understand how visitors use the Site and QR codes, so we can improve content, product information, and education.
- Measure the performance of our marketing and, where permitted, show you relevant Ametric content on other platforms.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations, including product quality, safety, and recall requirements, and enforce our terms.
We may combine or de-identify information so it no longer identifies you, and use that aggregated data for any lawful purpose.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state laws treat advertising pixels as a “sale” or “sharing” of data; you can opt out as described in Sections 4 and 6. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email marketing (Constant Contact), analytics, and customer support. They may use your information only to provide services to us. Our analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta, and TikTok) also receive device and browsing data through the tools described in Section 4.
- Amazon and other retailers. Many links on the Site take you to our Amazon listings. Once you leave the Site, Amazon’s privacy notice governs what you share there.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Ametric, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers, if Educated Supplements LLC or the Ametric brand is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. You will be notified of any change in ownership affecting your information.
- With your consent, for any other purpose you approve.
4. Cookies, Pixels, and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it. These may include:
- Essential cookies needed for the Site to function.
- Analytics tools such as Google Analytics that show us which pages and COAs are viewed most. Learn more at policies.google.com/
technologies/partner-sites . - Advertising and social media pixels such as the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel, which help us measure and deliver Ametric content on those platforms.
You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Our Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising where required by law.
Third-party links. The Site links to Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, TikTok, and Pinterest. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
5. Your Choices
- Emails. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages, such as replies to your inquiries.
- Cookies and targeted ads. Use our cookie banner, your browser settings, or a Global Privacy Control signal.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
- Access or receive a copy of your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your personal information.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and any sale of personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information, including health-related data.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email us at Support@AmetricProtocol.com or call (800) 980-0892. We will verify your identity before responding and reply within the time required by law, typically 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal a denied request by replying to our response. We extend these rights to all U.S. customers, regardless of state.
7. Children’s Privacy
Some Ametric products are formulated for use by children under adult supervision, but the Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No website or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, such as maintaining your newsletter subscription or answering your inquiry, or as required by law. Records tied to product quality, batch traceability, or legal compliance may be kept longer. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
10. Visitors Outside the United States
Ametric is based in the United States, and the Site is intended for U.S. visitors. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and notify you by email or a Site notice if changes are significant.
